Juniper recently announced the adoption of new chips, the T series core router throughput capacity will be upgraded to a single port 250Gbps, this is undoubtedly aimed at Cisco’s “pre-emptive.” Earlier rumors that Cisco is ready to a single circular port 120Gbps core router, Cisco’s plan is to upgrade its CRS-1, rather than completely new products. Juniper T1600 is currently the maximum throughput of 100Gbps, Cisco’s new product is considered to be Juniper’s attack.
