What To Include When Creating A Squeeze Page For PPC

Web Design No Comments »

When creating a squeeze page, there are many things to consider. Your layout, video, headline, and content are just a few of the items to think about carefully. However, there are certain elements you MUST include in order to be able to promote the page with Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising. When you include these three elements in your squeeze pages, you reduce the risk of being banned by Google. You also increase the trust factor, which means more opt-ins, and a lower cost per conversion.

The first element is a set of links that go either at the top of your page, at the bottom, or on the side, depending on your layout. These links are the privacy policy, terms of service, about us, sitemap, and contact page. Including these links increases the trust value of your squeeze page. When people can see who they are dealing with, and know that they can contact you, they feel better about giving you their information.

The second element is a SITE. People used to create squeeze pages on mini-sites – a site with the squeeze and thank-you page only. Today, it is necessary to also have a website behind your squeeze page. One type of website you could use is a blog. Make sure to link to your blog from the squeeze page so that Google can see your site is not a one-page site, but has a real website behind it.

The third element is a little more difficult and time consuming. It is SEO, or search engine optimization. Believe it or not, this is optimization both on AND OFF the page! To start with, make sure that all pages on your site have a keyword optimized title, meta description and meta keywords. This is called \”on-page SEO.\” In addition, make sure that your page ranks naturally in the search engines. To do this, you\’ll want to place 15-20 pages of content on your site. Each page should be optimized for a particular keyword phrase that is related to your main keyword phrase. For example, if you are writing about internet marketing, some of the related keywords might be \”online marketing\” or \”internet entrepreneurs.\” Make sure that each of these pages links to your squeeze page with the main keyword that you want it to rank for.

Tips On Starting Your Online Business

SEO No Comments »

A significant number of the individuals that are making a solid stream of income online from home are connected to online business systems. The Internet is filled with so many online business systems to join and there are new ones being introduced every month. One of the problems that opportunity seekers often go through is when the online business system starts to get filled up by more members that have more marketing experience than you. When that happens, you need to compete a little bit with the other members that are promoting the same business system as you.

Obviously, there are so many ways to promote a system, but it gives you a lot more breathing room if there are few people involved in promoting the system. However, the most profitable route is to start your own online business system because you will always get something out of the efforts of all your members. In order to start your own business system, consider the following tips.

Make some time with your Brand Awareness Early

Just like creating any corporate company, you need to spend time and effort in the conceptualization process. That means thinking of a good name to represent your online business system as well as creating a matching logo to spark awareness. That logo will serve as a foundation in creating the website of your business which will consist of a domain name and a web page. This might lead to other matching online products such as e-Books, CD\’s, DVD\’s, and other media. The more time you spend perfecting your brand the easier it will be for you and others to promote your online business system.

Choose a Less Common Affiliate Program or Combination of Programs

If you don\’t have your own product to promote, you will have to rely on affiliates as your source of income.

There are a number of affiliate companies that are powered by a large number of affiliates that are actively promoting the system to make it more popular. Linking your online system with these common programs may not secure the success that you need alone, so integrate affiliate programs with your other ideas.

Make the Opportunity Count

People are usually dubious of new programs that surface so therefore, one good way to minimize the skepticism is by reducing the risk as much as possible. Try to include a freebie or give a free trial to allow people to cancel without losing anything. If the upfront fee is expensive, add a few easy offers that can turn the opportunity into a free one.

After you have finished those basic tips, polish up your website and do a simulation by trying your new online business system yourself and see if it is smooth for new people to opt-in. From there you need to go out and market your new business through the usual channels and get your top tier members so they can promote for you.

If you are dedicated and willing to commit some time to initially build your online business, then success is highly achievable using online technology as your method of building a business.

Why Choose To Use An E-Book Reader?

Electronics No Comments »

Ebook readers attracted a great deal of publicity in 2009 – and none more so than Amazon\’s Kindle. The first ebook reader – generally held to be the Franklin eBookman – was released in 1999, over a decade ago, but it was only in 2009 that public interest was sparked.

It\’s probably not being too unkind to Sony to suggest that much of the credit for this must be given to Amazon. The Kindle 2.0 launch in February, followed shortly after by the DX in June, caused quite a bit of interest in ebook readers. When Amazon launched the original Kindle in 2007 the level of interest was considerably lower – so why the sudden difference?

One of Amazon\’s main selling points is the fact that the Kindle reader was, until very recently, the only reader available with wireless connectivity incorporated. This was also included with the original Kindle, so it doesn\’t really explain the sudden increase in interest in ebook readers. The Kindle 2.0 was, very definitely, much more cosmetically attractive than the original Kindle. There were also many more Kindle books available to choose from. At the february launch of the Kindle 2.0, there were 240,000 Kindle titles available from Amazon\’s site. In just a few months this rose to 400,000. At the moment, Amazon is adding an average of 500 new titles daily.

Of course, it might just be the fact that the public have had enough time to grow accustomed to electronic books. Whatever the reason, it does appear that the time is right for ebook readers.

Ebook readers are portable devices which let you read ebooks – electronic or digital books. Reading ebooks has been possible for a long time of course, simply by using a PC, or maybe even an iPod. The big difference between reading on a PC monitor and an ebook reader is that the PC monitor uses a backlit LCD display. After a while this can cause you eyestrain. Ebook readers use eInk technology which is much closer to reading text typed on conventional paper – they are not backlit.

Without going too far into the technical aspects, eInk displays consist of thousands of tiny spheres, each of which contains both black and white charged particle suspended in a liquid. The spheres are sandwiched between a transparent screen and electrical conductors. Passing the correct polarity of electrical current through the conductors causes either the black or white particles to be positioned next to the transparent screen in such a way as to form letters.

E-ink displays only use power when the page is being \”written\”. Once the particles have been set in place they will stay there. The e-ink technology is therefore, not only kinder to your eyes than a backlit PC screen, it also uses much less power. This means that battery life is much longer than would be the case for a backlit display – ideal for a battery powered mobile device.

Currently, there are a lot of companies who have ebook readers in development. Higher competition levels will inevitably produce lower prices and, whilst 2009 may be remembered as the year that ebook readers caught the public\’s imagination, 2010 could very well be the year that they become considered as a mainstream personal electronic item. By the end of the year they could be every bit as common as mobile phones or iPods.

Get the facts on the Kindle ebook reader and have a look at the wide range of Kindle accessories available to customise, protect and enhance your reader.
